vérifié Amazing tour across Madagascar My wife and I spent 2 weeks exploring Madagascar with Nirina's team and Madagascar Circuit Tours and had an amazing time. Nirina supported us in developing an itinerary that fit our timeline and desired sites, and the team on the ground was organized and professional.Traveling in Madagascar can be challenging at times and the team made us feel safe and comfortable the entire journey. The team was quick to adjust and modify our itinerary as we went basis our preferences ensuring we were able to see the incredible sites Madagascar has to offer (turtles, lemurs, chameleons, tsingy, baobabs).vérifié East/west Madagascar Tour I had a wonderful experience with Madagascar Circuits tour. I booked an 8 days trip covering the east and west of Madagascar.I was a bit skeptic to transferring 30% of the cost beforehand, but I received a voucher from Helinirina a few days later.The driver, Tina and guide Hasina made the trip amazing. Tina was a safe and experienced driver and Hasina shared interesting facts and stories during our travels. Hasina and I shared a few beers/cocktails in the local bars. They were both very kind and confortable to be around, and always on time.I enjoyed seeing lemurs, chameleons, birds, baobabs as well as the different landscapes. We also visited some local arts and crafts shops with possibilities for souvenir shopping.Most of the places I stayed over at were nice, with air-condition, wifi,good breakfast and swimming pools. The trip were supposed to end in Morodova Airport, but as I was saying to nights in Tana before heading home, the company organized pickup and drop-off at the Ivato Airport at no extra charge. The trip was beautiful and Nirina's time estimates for getting from one location to another were spot on, not easy to figure out given some of the slow traffic and roads. Madagascar has been on our list for many years and Nirina and team helped that materialize in the best way. thank you!vérifié Extraordinary Family Adventure This was the best trip ever thanks to Nirina's team, José our guide and our drivers Mefy and Rija. Nothing was too much of a problem and we had lots of laughs along the way. Madagascar is an incredible memory our family will always hold dear. Resoundingly, our favorite day was climbing the Tsingy, but there were so many wonderful moments and photos I can't list them all. What a country! What a world! Nirina (Helinirina) was attentive and answered all of my questions during the planning process with patience. He worked with me to create an itinerary that both myself and my friend loved. Madagascar is beautiful, diverse, and surprising. There is also a lot of poverty which cannot be ignored. This too, is why I felt it very important to go with a local tour company so that the money could find it's way back to the community. The island is BIG and we chose to only explore the lower part over 14 days. The roads are BAD and some travel days were long. I actually wish I had paid more attention to the travel time between destinations as I would have likely requested we leave a few stops out. No doubt Nirina would have accommodated that request without hesitation. But keep this in mind as the rough roads might do a number on your body if you're prone to that. LOTS of bouncing around.While the Baobob trees blew my mind and broke open my heart (honestly, a dream come true to lay hands on them), the landscape surprised with it's stunning diversity, and the animals of course were everything one could have hoped for, the absolutely best part of the trip was our guide Princie and driver Raoul! They were professional, hard working, funny, and kind, going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Raoul drove through situations I was 100% convinced we'd never make and Princie entertained us with history, information, music, poetry, and friendship. Do not worry about wiring money. This place is legit. The only other thing we wished we had known to ask before coming was what we could bring from the States that kids/people might need in the villages. It's hard to travel through so many with nothing to offer. Loved, loved, loved this experience overall and would highly recommend it!vérifié FAMILY TRIP TO MADAGASCAR A wonderful trip, with the security of a well organized agency.We were 3 families used to travel with our young children from 8 to 5 years old. But it is not easy to navigate on your own, especially if you've never been there and don't even speak malagasy. Having a good agency to take care of everything is essential.We are happy for choosing Madagscar Circuit Tours, they put everything together, provided great guides, drivers (and cars) and made it possible for us to have a fantastic trip of discovery and fun.vérifié Far exceeded our expectations. They are the BEST We just spent an 18 day road trip with this company and could not of been more happy! It was just PERFECT in every wayFrom the initial contact to hellrina, he was professional and timely and sent an itinerary quickly for what we were looking for. We upgraded our rooms (highly recommend doing this ). We also added some internal flights which helped cut down on driving time which was very helpful I was nervous about sending over a wire bank transfer for the deposit but hellrina has good reviews for a reason and he was trustworthy in all accounts so don’t worry about this part The first section of our trip we had petty and Lorencia. Both spoke great English and petty was a very safe driver. They had a wonderful balance of being there for our every need but also giving us space to spend time alone during meals etc After 4 days we flew to our second part of the trip and were with Hassin (guide) and sulufo (driver). I have worked in hospitality for over 20 years and I mean it when I say that I have never felt so taken care of by these two guys. They kept us safe comfortable and engaged for 14 days! Hassin was always there for me to make sure I wouldn’t trip or fall on some hard spots (I have some mobility issues). I thought he was very caring and I appreciated it! Sulufo is a great driver and on these crazy roads you need someone who is alert and can defensively drive in a safe way. I thought he did this superbly .Make sure to request this fantastic duo Madagascar is incredible and hard all at once. I do not recommend trying to do it on your own. It’s much safer with guides and a lot less headache. Rest assured if you book with hellrina you will be happy and satisfied! I think gadventure , intrepid and National Geographic overcharge. We did a much better itinerary and when we did see these groups, we were at the same hotels etc. you are just paying for a brand and hardly any of the money goes to madagascar. I recommend booking with a local operator like hellrina. He quoted a very fair price . Feel free to message me if you ever have more questions on specifics.Make sure you include the visit to the village where you spend the night. We booked with Helinirina Raharomanana because we liked the great reviews, he was very professional and very quick to respond to all my emails. We were met at the airport by Naina ( tour guide) and Petit (driver). They are lovely young men who looked after us perfectly from start to finish. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone considering booking with the company. We’re from the UK and well over pensioner age, Petit is an exceptional driver and we felt completely safe all the time. Naina makes sure everything runs smoothly, they were a joy to travel with.
